Received a call from this number, but the caller didn’t bother to leave a voice message. Quite peculiar, really.

Got a call from 01614 648316 claiming to be from the Pension Protection Service. The caller wanted to talk to my husband about his pension. When I asked which pension he meant, since my husband has several, the caller suddenly got defensive and said he couldn't share details due to data protection laws. I checked online for the company name they gave, and there’s no record of it at all. I’m pretty sure this is just another scam trying to trick people.

I got a call from 01614 648316 claiming to be from the Pension Protection Service, checking if I was happy with my pension returns. After sharing some info, they put me through to a Senior Consultant named Justin who said he found my details on the National Consumer Database. He urged me to set up a meeting with a pension expert to answer any questions I had. They gave me another number, 01619 390171, if I needed more info. Later, I looked the number up here and tried ringing to cancel the appointment, but it said the number’s no longer in use and directed me to an 0870 number. In the end, no one showed up anyway! I also made sure to contact my pension provider to inform them about the call.

Today I got a call from someone called Carol Jackson using this number. She said she was with "Pension Protection Services," which she claimed is a private charity endorsed by the DWP. She mentioned it wouldn’t cost us anything but didn’t actually explain what the service was about before I asked for the number and said I'd look them up. Couldn't find any info about this organisation online at all.

I got a call to set up a pension meeting, sorted the appointment, but they just didn't turn up.

Got a call earlier today and they started off by saying the DWP had shared my details. Then they claimed I’d signed up online, which I definitely never did. They had quite a bit of info about me though. Don’t bother talking to these lot, they’re just trying to push you into cashing out your pension.

got a call from that number and they wanted to speak to the owner of the house but they weren’t in. I asked what it was regarding and he said it’s something to do with pensions and updating info. He asked me to ring back on the same number today.

I was on the phone with this number for about 20 minutes, then got transferred to a supervisor. When they gave me another number, I quickly searched it online, stumbled upon this site, and decided to hang up. I’ve saved the number and will do some more digging to see if it’s a real company before calling back. Not certain if this is a scam or not, can someone please help me figure it out? Cheers, INK059.

They said they're from some pension claiming company and offer free pension tracing, but want me to let a courier pop round and pick up my personal info. Felt a bit dodgy to me.
