I got a rather intrusive call today, allegedly regarding PPI. They appeared to have my details, mentioning Tarquin Wilson and a supposed claim against Lloyds Bank. I informed them that the claim probably wouldn't hold up, but they didn't seem interested in my opinion. Instead, they shifted the topic to opening a special payments account. I firmly instructed them to end the call, yet they persisted, so I ended it myself. The number that registered was 01618266905. Interestingly, on the 25th of September, they rang me from 0161826695. It appears these calls might be traced back to Omnisign Ltd., located at Unit 114, The Innovation Forum, Frederick Road, Salford, Lancs, M6 6FP. - caller: unknown

Some nuisance rang up supposedly to discuss PPI with my grandfather on the 9th of October, 2019. The thing is, my grandad passed away back in 2016! Plus, PPI is ancient history now, isn’t it? A confident guy with a Nigerian accent called me claiming he knew I’d made a claim for PPI. When I told him I’d only got TPS, he snapped back, “Sir, you signed up with us, so I’m well within my rights to ring you.” I suspected straight away it was dodgy, so I fed him a load of rubbish just to mess with him. He was quite sharp and rude, then just cut the call. I reckon some people might fall for it though, and honestly, I think this is the dodgiest call I’ve had to date.

Turns out, my name’s Chantelle, and she mumbled something about her own name that was all over the place. Probably just trying to draw me in with a “who?” Then, she hung up.
