Got a rather suspicious call earlier from this number. The chap on the other end claimed to be a solicitor representing the government and insisted on sending someone over with a cheque for me. When I suggested he simply post it, he was rather evasive and said that it wouldn’t be reliable. I straight up told him it sounded dodgy to me, and, wouldn’t you know, he quickly lost all enthusiasm for the conversation! That's a classic sign, isn't it?

I had a rather curious telephone encounter with a chap who sounded of Asian descent, introducing himself as Lawrence. He rang me from the number 01618187999, claiming to discuss a PPI payment from the government. This was actually his second attempt to reach me; the first was from a different number, and he insisted I needed to fork out £360.00 in tax before he could process my cheque or bank transfer. My instincts raised alarms during our prior chat, which is why I asked him to ring back, given my inability to stump up the cash. Honestly, the whole thing feels even dodgier this time around.

I've received three calls today from an Indian gentleman claiming to be a solicitor discussing PPI. When I asked him to cease calling me, he resorted to some rather foul language, including name-calling and a string of expletives. Quite outrageous, really!

This morning, I received three calls from this number, and to my surprise, they claimed to be a group of solicitors dedicated to helping me claim my PPI from the government. According to them, I've supposedly won £2840. However, they informed me that before I could access those funds, I’d need to fork out 10% of the total amount first. It's baffling how these things work!
