Got a ring from this number earlier, some bloke claiming to be a government solicitor. He said he needed to send someone round with a cheque for me. I told him just post it if there really was a cheque. He said nah, he couldn’t post it cause I might not receive it. I told him sounded fishy to me, probably a scam. He dropped it after that.

Got a ring from 01618187999, some bloke with an Asian accent who said his name was Lawrence. He was yabbering on about government PPI repayment. This wasn’t the first time either, he'd called before from another number, banging on about me shelling out £360 in tax upfront before they'd send the cash through a cheque or into my bank. I found it fishy the first time so told him to ring back later as I couldn’t cough up the money then. Now, the whole thing seems even dodgier than before.

Got three calls earlier from some Indian bloke claiming to be a solicitor talking about PPI. Told him to quit ringing me, and then he just started calling me a b**ch and saying f#%k you, along with a load of other swear words. Proper rude.

This morning I got 3 calls from this number, they claimed to be lawyers trying to help me claim PPI money from the government. They said I’d won £2840, but they told me I had to pay 10% up front before I could receive the cash. Sounded dodgy to me.
