This number keeps ringing me like 3 or 4 times everyday, even though I told them to take me off their list, they just dont stop. Recently, I got a new BT phone which shows who's calling and lets me block numbers, just like a mobile phone. Since then, I've blocked all the junk callers and haven't had any bother. Honestly, it’s the best upgrade I’ve made and the £69 for three handsets with an answer machine was totally worth it.

He told me he found my number on some data list about three months back but wouldn’t say what name was linked to it. He claimed it was about mortgages and loans, but I’ve never applied for anything like that. When I started asking him a lot of questions, he just went, “Thanks for your time, madam, goodbye,” and then dropped the call.

The caller started by using my first name and said he was calling on behalf of a legal company. He asked if I had a mortgage and then told me I’d apparently paid too much on it and could get some cash back. I told him I wasn’t interested and ended the call.
