I was searching the internet for printer driver help when a so-called virtual assistant popped up saying they were from Microsoft and wanted to assist me. They asked for my phone number and then if I had an alternative contact. Things felt a bit off, so I decided to stop the chat. A few minutes later, they rang me again, but I just blocked the number straight away.

I got a call from someone saying they were from HP support, but then all they asked for was my wifi password, my phone and home numbers, and to pay them £70 to help install my printer online. Sounded really dodgy to me.
