Got a call from someone claiming to be a pension advisory firm, seemed like a proper pension phishing attempt to me!

They rang me today and just like most others, when I picked up they ended the call right away. I called back and a woman answered, so I told her they keep calling and dropping the call when I answer. She then asked for my full name to check who made the call, but when I wouldn’t give it, she ended the call too. THE RULES ABOUT THESE CALLS REALLY NEED TO BE SORTED OUT!!!!!!!

Penview Finance was set up back in 2015, registered under 09711867, and is still active. Their official address is 18-22 Lloyd House, Manchester, M2 5WA. The firm’s only been around for about four months and hasn’t submitted any financial reports yet - they’re due by 31st July. The business has just one director, a certain Chares Edward John Pickersgill, who was born in June 1992 and took up the role on 31 July 2015. At the moment, no secretaries are registered, and there haven’t been any past directors or secretaries according to the records as of 2 December 2015.

Maybe Charlie lad would get a kick outta some calls from the public, though he's pretty well hidden, as are the contact details for his company! So, Penview Finance kicked off in 2015, listed under registration number 09711867, and is still going. They’re based at 18-22 Lloyd House, Manchester, M2 5WA. Oddly enough, the business has only been up and running for about 4 months and they haven’t submitted any financial info yet, which was due by July 31. There’s just one director on board, Charles Edward John Pickersgill, born June ’92, who got the job on 31 July 2015. No secretaries at the moment either, and as of December 2, 2015, there’s no record of anyone else having held those roles before.

they’ve been calling me every day for about a week now. say they’re a pension advice company but when i asked where they got my details from, they just ended the call. there really should be a law requiring them to reveal where they got your info from, would cut down on all these annoying “fishing” calls.

Got a call from a place calling themselves Penview Finance, claiming my records show I’m paying into a pension. When I asked where they’d pulled that info from, they couldn’t say. The bloke said their company name is Legal Requirements Agencies Ltd or something like that. They reckon they want to ‘review my pension affairs’ - sounds like a cheeky way to get me to switch pensions so they can earn big fees. Told them to jog on. Would recommend anyone else do the same and not fall for it.
