I didn't get a call, just a text message saying I've been approved for a loan with a number to ring at the end. I never applied for anything like that and certainly wouldn't. The number showed up on a website linked to some upgrade company with complaints from a few folks. They’re definitely dodgy scammers. Don’t share any details with them!

i keep getting calls and texts from these lot nonstop. really pushy and totally ignore when i say no. even when i block their number, somehow they still manage to reach me. proper annoying, think they're smart but they aint getting my card info. next time, might tell them i got a fridge or microwave for sale, maybe that'll make them get the message.

I got a call from this number just as my phone contract was ending, and I assumed it was about my phone upgrade. I gave them my info, including bank details, and then noticed £45 was taken from my credit card without permission. Later, I received a text asking me to ring back to sort out the upgrade, but when I called, the woman just ended the call on me. I tried again and a man picked up - I explained the issue and he said his manager would call me within 10 minutes. But I never got any callback. What should I do now? How can I get a refund and stop any more charges on my account? Really need some advice here!
