I've had this number ring me up 8 times just today!

This number just rang me but nobody picked up when I tried to answer. After seeing the comments here, I decided to block it straight away.

I’ve been getting calls a lot from this number and also from 0161 8146411 and 0161 8146876. They’re all pretty much the same. Sometimes no one answers, other times they use my first name and start talking about some accident that I apparently was involved in. The calls keep coming throughout the day, even as late as 10.30pm!

Got a call out of the blue from some PPI claims company. They seemed to know my first name but got my last name all wrong. The person on the phone sounded like they were struggling with English, maybe from somewhere in India. Definitely really pushy and didn't seem trustworthy at all. Would say steer clear of them.
