I've approached them quite courteously, requesting that they remove my number from their records, but alas, the interruptions persist.

Hello everyone, I’m on the lookout for the whereabouts of the fool persistently ringing from this number. A formal harassment notice should do the trick to make them think twice, and if they don’t take heed, well, I won’t hesitate to escalate things legally. This is clearly a rather suspect business trying to get hold of your date of birth. It's high time that BT took some action against this nonsense!

Received a call today from someone who had my name and address on hand. They proceeded to check if I was bankrupt and insisted on knowing my date of birth before they could send through my documents for a refund of £2,500. I wasn’t comfortable sharing my date of birth over the phone, so they claimed they couldn't proceed without it. I reminded them that I had already provided my consent in writing, along with my DOB, and they simply hung up.

A short while ago, I had a call from this number claiming he was going to dispatch some documents for a £2,500 PPI refund, urging me to complete and return them. As soon as I mentioned that I wasn't expecting any refund, he promptly cut the conversation short. Honestly, what a waste of time! They really ought to find themselves a proper job instead of trying this nonsense.

I got a phone call earlier claiming that they were dispatching some documents for a £3000 refund. When I probed a bit deeper, they stated they were affiliated with the payment protection team. However, after five attempts to get a proper company name out of them, they were utterly unable to provide any legitimate information or even a registered address. They mentioned being regulated by the FSA and tossed out a licence number, but it turned out that the number was completely bogus. The representative was quite evasive, doing their utmost to skirt around my inquiries, and even let it slip that they had purchased my information, along with that of other customers!
