there's really no way to fully guard against these types of calls! latest one mentioned something to do with loft insulation. i had blocked previous numbers before, one even rang while i was asleep so didn’t really stand a chance to deal with it properly or expect them to catch me off-guard. now they’re trying again, this time on my landline, using a different number i guess. for now, all i can do is keep marking them as spam and block what i can. wouldn’t mind seeing some serious fines, loss of earnings or even jail time handed out so they finally understand this nonsense has to stop!

a lady rang with a really hard to understand accent, and kept going on about “free love info” or something like that, but when i asked her to clarify she just dodged it. only after the call did i figure out she was trying to say “free loft insulation”. once i mentioned i’m on the tps, she said sorry and quickly ended the call. i guess this time it might be an honest caller who hasn’t caught on to scammers usually faking their numbers yet.
