This firm called themselves Protec, claiming they had to do a roof inspection. The strange bit was they gave me an address and a name that wasn’t even mine. When I asked what was going on, they just said “have a good day” and quickly ended the call. Quite odd if you ask me.

I got a missed call from this number but there wasn't any voicemail. After checking the reviews about it, I decided to block it straight away. Big thanks to "who called me" for helping out! A couple of months after I got a warning from my antivirus about my info - like my username and other stuff from a professional job site (the alert named the site too) - turning up on the dark web, I started getting up to 8 scam calls or texts every month. Apparently, it’s all linked to when that job site got hacked back in 2016.
