What’s the deal with life insurance policies? I don’t seem to have one at all.

They addressed me by my old surname, which I haven't used for a couple of years now. I pointed this out by saying, "That's not my name." Then they inquired whether anyone at this address happened to share that name, to which I responded with a firm "No, who is this?" They mentioned something about a life assessment centre, or something to that effect. Quite perplexing, if you ask me! Yet they keep bombarding me with calls!
