I've been receiving calls from this number seeking a particular individual. When I mention that they aren’t available (which is sometimes true!), they hang up without even revealing their identity. From what I gather, they're hunting down those affected by PPI - it’s utterly disgraceful! This relentless barrage of calls to both landlines and mobiles is becoming quite unbearable. Something needs to be done to put an end to this nuisance!

I received a call where they actually asked for me by name! When I enquired about their intentions, the bloke launched into a spiel about getting refunds for claims. I had to remind him that I’m registered with the Telephone Preference Service, which means I'm not supposed to get any unwanted calls. I pointed out that he was violating EU rules. He insisted that it wasn’t unsolicited, but I made it clear I wasn’t interested in continuing the conversation and simply hung up the phone.

I’ve had this happen as well. If you happen to say something like "Hello", the system picks up on it and connects you straight to a call centre, where you’re greeted by a rather pushy salesperson launching into their pitch. About thirty minutes ago, I received a rather intrusive phone call. The caller claimed to be associated with "claims" and bombarded me with questions like, "Have you taken out a loan in the last dozen years?" and "Did you buy insurance for your furniture?"
