I've been receiving calls from this individual who simply refuses to take "no" for an answer. It’s quite bothersome, really, as they keep ringing me even after I’ve made it clear that I'm not interested.

A rather frosty caller rang us up, asking for our name before mentioning some compensation claims that they suggested we should explore. Well, to put it plainly, we have no interest whatsoever. Kindly take your leave!

Received a call from someone who clearly had our complete name but didn’t bother to confirm it. I asked for their identity three times, but they didn’t respond at all. So, I decided to hang up.

We decided to install a call-blocking app, and let me tell you, it was an excellent choice! The one we opted for, Mr. Number, turned out to be incredibly effective.

Yet another call from a PPI representative! I politely explained to them that they had the wrong person, but they still had the cheek to say the call might be "helpful" to us. Just fantastic. They've now secured themselves a spot on my ever-growing blocked list.

They mentioned that there’s some cash owed to us. We clarified that we’ve never taken out a loan or any sort of finance, and just like that, she hung up the call.

For over a month now, I have been receiving daily calls from a PPI claims company.

They phone me every single day without fail! However, I choose not to answer their calls. If it was important, they could leave a message instead.

I have only received a few calls from this number so far, but they keep asking for a Mrs. Come (interestingly, that was quite a funny name the first time). I have informed them that they have the wrong number, but they continue to persistently try to sell me PPI. Their approach is slightly different than the usual ones, but nonetheless, it is annoying! They called again just now, asking for the same person. I repeated that they had already been informed of their error in dialing the wrong number. However, this time the caller responded rudely, saying they don't have it wrong and got quite offensive. To avoid any further unpleasantness, I simply hung up! Do you happen to have any suggestions on how we can stop receiving calls from this number?

These individuals have been quite bothersome, as they have contacted me on six separate occasions within a span of just five minutes. I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to have a word with the individuals responsible for these incessant calls.

The phone continuously rings without anyone on the other end when you answer the call. Upon someone's suggestion, I decided to contact you for assistance in finding out the identity of the caller.

This is utterly bothersome, I don't even have any outstanding PPIs, but these idiots somehow believe I do. They keep calling me intermittently, even after I clearly informed them that I don't have any ongoing claims. It's becoming quite a pain in the behind.

Honestly, it is high time that the government took decisive action against these PPI cold calls by implementing a comprehensive law. These calls not only waste valuable time but also cost millions of pounds each day in lost revenue. Perhaps a time limit can be set for PPI claims, after which any remaining funds could be donated to charitable causes. These cold callers do not show any consideration for those of us who are busy working and constantly disrupting our daily routines. If I require groceries like a bottle of milk or a can of beans, I prefer to order them or visit the shop personally. I certainly do not appreciate being incessantly called to inquire if I need such items. For an effective solution to combat cold calls, please refer to my helpful tip below. Wishing you a wonderful life, Sparky.

Here's a handy tip: If you're unsure who is calling, simply do a quick Google search instead of answering the call. You can always call back later if necessary. If it turns out to be a cold call, which is often the case, save the number and label it as "Cold Call." Then, if they happen to ring again (these calls can be quite random), you'll immediately know it's them. Oh, and by the way, this particular call was yet another payment protection insurance (PPI) one - quite dull really, especially as I've never had any credit! Wondering how they obtained your name and information? It's easy - they just trawl through sites like Facebook. Some cunning scammers even put premium charges on their phone lines, so never call back, or you could be hit with charges of £1 per minute or even more. Stay vigilant! Best regards, Sparky.
