I tried ringing their number back but just ended up with voicemail. They’ve rung me three times already on my mobile, claiming to be from Auto Assist about some road accident compensation. Thing is, I’ve never been in any accident, so I’m pretty sure it’s just spam. When I asked for their company address, the one they gave doesn’t seem real at all. I’m expecting them to call again soon - curious to hear what excuse they’ll come up with next!

If you ever get a dodgy call like that, try to dig up who they really are. Do a quick online company check and if you find nothing, make sure to call them out by name and address. It’s the best way to stop these muppets!
