Just got a call from someone claiming I’d been in a car accident and they were with some kind of investigation team. Thing is, I haven’t had an accident in like 16 years, so I have no idea what they’re talking about. The lady on the phone was foreign and got really annoyed with me when I questioned her.

When I told them I didn’t owe anything, the bloke got really rude and kept going on with "how do you know that, Emma love?" I told him not to speak to me like that and to stop calling. He was proper nasty and I just ended the call.

I got a call from this number earlier. It was a woman speaking with a South African accent. She claimed to be from First Solutions and said that due to new government regulations, I could get a refund on PPI for credit card interest. Thing is, I never pay interest, so I don’t think I’m owed anything. Suddenly, the call just cut out while she was still talking!

0161 641 7157 has been ringing me non stop for the past 4 days, like 4 times already. I just put the phone up to the radio and let them babble away while I get on with my things. They ring both in the day and evening and say I’ve got a ppi claim on a credit card I haven’t had in like 20 years. They also mention a loan but the moment I say Volkswagen finance, they suddenly lose interest. So yeah, the radio stays on when they call.

They keep using different names like First Solutions or something, over the past few months ive had like 50 to 100 calls from them. I've told them loads of times I'm not interested but they just keep ringing. I'm proper fed up now, even told them to stop calling but they just say I'm being rude when I tell them off. I've had enough and now the commissioners office is involved to sort them out.

I received a call from this number at 6:16 PM. A woman with a foreign accent inquired for me by name and wanted to know if I had received any correspondence regarding a refund related to my credit card. I firmly told her not to contact me again.

I have caller ID, so I tend to avoid answering when this number comes up. They're really tenacious, aren't they? I've had calls on the 16th at 12:45pm, then again on the 17th at 10:03am and 6:17pm. The 18th brought another at 12:25pm, and on the 19th, they rang me thrice at 12:25pm, 2:08pm, and 4:17pm. Quite the persistent caller, I must say!

The person on the other end has a rather brusque and unfriendly tone, not at all like someone trying to sell anything. I've recently received multiple calls from this number (as of the 16th of November 2015). As mentioned previously, the calls come through at all hours, yet there's nobody on the line when I answer. My phone provider has suggested that I sign up with the Call Preference Service, which I've gone ahead and done. I’ve also come across a service called 'Silent Call Guard' at the number 0800 587 5252. I'll be keeping an eye on whether taking these measures will make a difference.

I picked up a call on my home phone at 6:26 pm on 5th October. The caller said his name was Simon Carter from Easylife and claimed I was due a refund. He asked me to confirm my address as ####. When I asked for details about the refund first, he said he could only explain after I confirmed my address. I refused and asked again about the refund. He then snapped, "Well, no cheque for you then, goodbye," and hung up. I got in touch with Easylife later and they told me I wasn’t owed anything, plus I haven’t bought from them in ages!

I received a call from this number earlier today. I answered, but there was silence on the other end when I greeted them, so after they'd tried ringing me a second time, I lost my temper and slammed the phone down after telling them to shove off. I was already feeling a bit out of sorts. Later on, my wife picked up the phone when they called again. The caller asked for me directly, to which she responded with, "This is speaking," only for them to abruptly end the call. We lack caller ID, which means we can’t simply screen calls before picking up. It’s rather infuriating and a bit unsettling, to be honest!

I’ve lost my temper more than a few times, telling them to just sod off! I can’t believe what just happened at my mum’s place. They rang her landline looking for someone who doesn’t even reside there! When she informed the chap of this little detail, he turned quite nasty. It's beyond ridiculous! She requested to be taken off their calling list, and his audacious reply?
