Got a really impolite woman trying to sell me PPI, and when I asked her how she got my details, she dodged the question and just said I must have agreed to be contacted somewhere. I told her with the new GDPR rules coming in, that’s not allowed - I’m entitled to know where my info’s from, how they use it and keep it safe. She insisted it wasn’t true and said I wasn’t hearing her right. Quite frustrating really :(

Total rip off, they threatened that if I didn’t redo my PPI claim (which I already settled) they’d tell my bank to hold back any payments owed. I work in finance and told them I’d be reporting it to the FCA.

Got a call saying my computer had a virus, but I don’t even have one since I just use my phone and ipad for everything. When I said I didn’t own a computer, the bloke tried arguing and insisted I did, then said he’d block it or summat. Proper muppet, honestly!

Some bloke with an accent called asking for the business owner about Utility Bills. I said the owners weren’t around and he then wanted to speak to someone managing the bills. I told him they were all out working calls. He just hung up straight away. Complete waste of time. Sounded like a call centre to me.

Been getting about 4 calls every day, all of which I usually just let ring. Decided to pick up today and was met with a loud call centre in the background. Apparently it's from some car firm claiming I was in a no fault crash, but they said it happened in 2014, when actually it was back in ‘09. Then they rattled off my full name, address and even my landline number. Told me some paperwork's on the way. Feels dodgy as hell, and kinda terrifying they’ve got all my details. How on earth?!

Reported to the police! Been getting calls on and off for about a month now. A bloke rang saying I'd been in an accident two years ago, which is total rubbish. When I tried to question where they got that from, he just cut me off. Tried ringing back but couldn’t get through. I looked up Auto Solutions Manchester and called them to sort it out. The guy at Total Auto Solutions (different firm) said loads of people have called about the same thing and someone’s pretending to be them. He’s taken down the number that called me and is now getting in touch with the police about it.

Complete scam, honestly. I answered once and they promised to remove me from their calling list. Now, I just avoid picking up if I see the number.
