The person on the other end was hard to understand, so I asked them to email me instead since they had my info. They sent a couple of texts with a code they said was from O2, but I told them I wasn’t comfortable just responding to some random call and asked that they either email me or post the SIM. Afterwards, I got a text that looked like it came from O2, including a code they said was needed to sort the SIM. They asked me for some info to "confirm my identity". I got suspicious and told them I thought it was a scam before hanging up.
