Some bloke said he was calling from some government office or something. Told him to jog on since he couldn't even say my name right. Seriously, how do these people get hold of our details?

They said they were from O2 but I’m not with them, so I just ended the call.

Someone rang saying they were from O2, but I’m on the TPS list, so there’s no way it’s legit. Pretty obvious it was a scam.

They got my name totally wrong and when I tried to correct them, they just ended the call right away.

Got a ring from this number claiming they were from O2, saying they needed to send out a new SIM because of a system update. They mentioned some details from my last bill which made it sound legit, but when I asked if it was for a personal or business line, they just cut me off. I do have O2 as my provider, but not directly through them. Feels like a total scam to me. Definitely don’t give them any info!
