They’ve called me like 12 times, never said a word and just hung up. Proper annoying. After reading the comments here, I’m blocking them now. If the number’s from a Manchester area code, just block it if it’s not your local region.

Got a call from a woman claiming she was from O2, and somehow she knew my name! I told her to speak to the account owner directly since it wasn’t me, but she said they didn’t have that person listed. I refused to talk further and ended the call. Definitely felt like a scam to me.

Got a strange call from some bloke saying his name was bulmete or sumthin, kept jabberin on about oxygen 🙄 but never mentioned o2 or anything so I just cut him off, hung up and blocked him straight away.

got a call saying they got my details from o2 and that my contract was about to finish, which it actually is. sounded fishy though. they offered me unlimited texts & calls with 6gb data, and said after half a year i could pick any phone for free. tried to put me through to sort my direct debit but i just hung up. after reading these reviews, totally see now it’s a dodgy scam. who on earth is sharing my info like this :(

Somebody said they were from O2 and told me I’d used one of their mobile hotspots for Wi-Fi recently. Thing is, I’m not even with O2 so couldn’t have possibly done that, not on purpose or anything. Just blocked it.
