She insisted she’d stay on the phone, but I said I was tied up and would do it later. Then she threatened to call me back in half an hour. Their pushiness made me sure it was a con. I told her I wasn’t interested and ended the call.

Got a call from some bloke with an accent talking about a tax refund from a PPI claim and some new law in the UK. I told him I wasn’t interested but he kept pestering me for my details. Eventually, I just ended the call.

He wanted my personal info saying I'd get a cheque sent to me, asked for my address and said he'd confirm my full address and dob. I told him my address was different and gave him a fake town he then said was where I supposedly lived. After that, I just ended the call.
