This number keeps ringing me almost every other day lately. They never bother to leave any message. I've just put it on my block list now.

They keep saying they're from the Claims Guys. I've had 8 calls so far, 3 times I've told them I'm not interested and 4 times I've asked them to take my number off their list and stop ringing me. The person on the phone just ignores what I ask and keeps insisting I qualify for a tax rebate if I share some personal info. It's really frustrating and feels shady, like a scam.

Got a call from these Claims People earlier but i couldnt answer. When i did call back, the person was really rude after i asked them to quit ringin me. Then they just hung up on me.

Received a call from what they claimed were representatives sorting out PPI refunds, insisting I might be due some tax back from HMRC. They pushed me to stop driving to fill out a form they had emailed. To my surprise, they even suggested that someone accompanying me could assist in completing it! I asked them to ring me later, which they obligingly did, but hung up after just two rings. My phone indicated it might be a scam, even though my hands-free car system didn’t show any warning. I decided to contact the claims company directly, and they had absolutely no record of my phone call.

Got a dodgy call from some Indian legal help scam. I just put it on that police site, was quick and simple. They’ve got some good info about scam emails too. Not sure if anything will come of it unless loads of people report, but I’ve done what I can. Thinking of getting in touch with my MP too like someone suggested, to see what they say. These scam calls are seriously annoying now. I don’t just block unknown numbers cause sometimes they’re real, like from my hospital or other important folks.

Scam alert! Make sure you report any scam calls asap. Just search ‘action fraud’ on Google and head over to the ‘police.uk’ website. Look for the ‘report a phishing attempt’ section and take a good read through all the info there. After that, enter all the details about the scam straight into the police’s system. This is how they get a proper idea of how bad these fraud attempts really are.

They claimed to be from the Claims Guys about PPI. I looked up their site and it clearly states they dont deal with PPI issues or call about them. They also said HMRC sent them to sort this out, which sounds like total rubbish. Definitely a scam. Blocked straight away.

Received a call from someone purporting to be with Claims Guys, who apparently helped me out with some successful claims a few years back, which indeed checks out. They mentioned they could assist in reclaiming some tax I’d paid. They asked for my address, National Insurance number, and wanted me to sign on the dotted line. It all seemed rather plausible, but after attempting to verify their phone number and reaching out for further clarification, I’ve had no luck getting a response. I’m now left hanging, curious to see how this will unfold.

I received a call from some chaps claiming to be from a claims agency, insisting they could help me recover some money from HMRC. They requested my address, and I promptly told them I suspected it was a scam. The moment I said that, they hung up!

They said they were from some claims company. Claimed I was owed a hefty tax refund from HMRC and that they’d handle all the paperwork for me. Said I’d have to pay a fee of 48% if the claim went through. She mentioned my name but asked me to confirm the first line of my address and postcode - I gave it as I’d dealt with them ages ago. Then she sent me a text with a link asking me to click to begin the claim. I wasn’t having any of it, told her I never click on links these days because of all the scammers about.

Got a call from some folks called Claims Guys, sounded proper legit. They said they could help recover tax I supposedly paid on PPI claims they sorted for me a few years back. When I asked where they’d snagged my number from, they claimed it was through The Claims Guys. They wanted me to verify some info but I said no way. They said it was for getting tax back from my PPI claim through HMRC. I told them I’d get my accountant to handle that. Then they asked if I was actually with my accountant right now?! I told him straight up he was a con artist and to do one. He must have some nerve 'cause he kept going on, so I just left him to yap on speaker while I cracked on with my day!
