Got a call from an Asian call centre claiming to be BT. They tried to convince me by giving me back the number they were ringing from as proof. Seemed dodgy to me, so I blocked them straight away. Pretty sure it was some sort of scam or a sales pitch.

This number has rung me loads of times, always asking for a bloke called Rick Hoskins. Every time I tell them they've got the wrong person, and they say they’ll make a note so I won’t get any more calls. But no matter what, they ring me again a few weeks later. I've even blocked the number on my mobile, but somehow they still manage to get through. Very annoying!

I checked and my number was already on the TPS, but they kept calling anyway. When that happens, just let it go to voicemail - most times they’ll just hang off once it starts ringing.
