My number showed up as 'Possible scam' on a site. They rang me twice, the first time I said I was tied up and not keen on their deal. They also asked for some personal details. Weird part was, the woman had me on speaker at first, but it sounded all muffled, then she switched it off when I said I couldn’t hear properly. Bit odd cos I’d have thought a noisy call centre would mean they'd keep it on speaker.

Yeah, it’s O2. I already got some discounts on my O2 plan and they were ringing just to talk about those. Loads of people here reckon it’s a scam cos they ask for personal info, but every call centre has to confirm your details for data protection rules, even if they’re the ones who rang you. It’s just how it works legally.

Got a call from someone claiming to be o2, asking for my personal info. I told them i should be the one asking them questions instead. I looked up the number and it doesn’t really link to o2, just to this site, which seems a bit suspicious. Same as that Manchester number earlier, but this time with an Irish accent.

Jokes trying to con you. Never give out info or agree to anything. Just put the phone down. Always get in touch with your service provider yourself. This is the second time they rang me.

They said they were from O2 but it was a scam. The number they kept using was 01615072863 or sometimes ending in 60 or other digits. I rang O2 myself and they said the number isn’t theirs. They convinced me to buy a tablet on the phone, but I never got it.

Somebody rang sayin they were from O2, sounded Irish and started askin about discounts and if I'm the account holder. I said yes, then they asked for the first line of my address, I said of course I know that. Then they wanted to ask a security question, I agreed but mumbled a bit. They said they’d check it, then suddenly asked me what I said again like they didn’t understand. I was like, what exactly are you checking? They didn’t answer and just hung up. Bit suspicious if you ask me!
