Spoke to this Indian bloke who kept asking loads of questions but never mentioned what company he was from, which to me was a clear red flag that he was probably trying to scam.

Its fine for them to call us with all their scam stuff, but HOW do they even get hold of our numbers? I dont even have a phone and dont want one, but they keep ringing my mums mobile. Someone called saying they were from OCTOPUS ENERGY, but it was a total con. Complete waste of time SCAMMER. She tried to convince me she had a better deal for me ???? Just wanted my personal info ----- TOTAL FRAUD. STAY ALERT!

Got a call from someone saying they were with OCTOPUS ENERGY. Turned out to be a total scammer. She kept insisting she had a better deal for me but it was all rubbish. Just trying to get my info. Utter fraud, nothing else. Watch out folks!

Had a lady calling saying she was from “octopus energy”. She even knew my name and said I’d signed up for their marketing. Erm, nope, never gave permission for any of that. Told her so, but she just hung up on me. I’ve blocked the number now. Would recommend you do the same honestly.
