Got a call from an energy firm trying to switch me over, but I was pretty sure it was dodgy. The same number had called me just the day before, claiming to be from consumer savings, so I knew it was a scam.

Got a call from someone about switching my energy provider. I told them I wasn’t really up for talking right then, and they kept probing for a better time to chat. When I said I wasn’t interested, they just ended the call straight away before I could finish. They sounded a bit overconfident, like they were trying to sound super official or something.

Yeah, it just rang me too and I’ve already got the number saved as Foff in my phone. Was feeling pretty annoyed today so I picked up. The bloke on the other end sounded like he was just doing his job, saying hello Mr something or other, that they just want to help. I told him straight up, if you wanna help me, I’ll help you by knocking you off your list. Told him to stop calling me altogether.

Got calls from gas and electric companies lately claiming they have better deals. Told them I'm not interested and if I wanted to switch I'd ring them first. Also had calls this week from numbers in Glasgow and Birmingham. The lady on the line was actually quite nice though.

Got calls from the same number a couple times this week. The caller ID showed it was the consumer helpline, but as far as I know, that’s a service you normally call if you have a problem, not one that rings you first. I haven’t reached out to them before so not sure why they’re calling me. Going to just block the number.

I rang them back but the person wouldn’t say who they were. I could hear loads of noise on the line, sounded like a busy call centre or something!
