I got a call and the moment I picked up, they just cut off. Feels like one of those spam calls. My mum got the same one too. Maybe a call centre in India? Not really sure.

Got a call from a number I didn’t know, so I just let it go to voicemail. Not sure who it turned out to be, but someone else also looked it up when I did, so probably just spam.

They just rang me but I couldn’t pick up. I tried calling back a number I didn’t answer earlier, but no luck getting through. If they ring once more, I guess I’ll find out what it’s about. So annoying!

This appears to be an insurance firm, and it does seem to have some credibility. However, I've noticed they tend to engage in cold calling and rather pushy marketing tactics. There's a fair share of negative feedback about them, and more often than not, their professionalism leaves a lot to be desired. There's a chance they might even be operating in a less than honest manner.

Got a call yesterday from someone asking for me using my old last name (I’ve been married for over 3 years now). They said it was regarding a review of my life insurance with them. When I asked which company they meant, they mentioned a few well-known names, but not the insurer I actually have. So I ended the call. Today, they tried ringing me again but I wasn’t able to pick up.

Got a call where the person said they were from Legal & General wanting to go over my policy. Thing is, I’ve never had any policy with them. When I questioned it, he just said they partner with loads of other firms. I muted the line and let him ramble on till he gave up and ended the call.

Watch out for this life insurance scam! They even put in annoying background noise to sound like a proper call centre. They start with some chit chat to rope you in, but honestly, the only thing they want is your bank info! Stay safe!

Some bloke from this place called 'Review My Policy' phoned me, claiming I’d chatted with them before about my Life Insurance with L&G. When I asked him to say the company's name again, I told him I’d never been in touch with them or L&G at all. Then he just ended the call. Could be a scam or just some annoying telemarketer - whatever, I’ve blocked the number now.

Keep gettin calls from what seems like Appliance Direct, pushing life insurance on me. They use loads of different numbers, at least eight so far. I've blocked them all but they just keep ringing. Reckon they ain't gonna take a hint anytime soon.

When I inquired about how he got my number, he casually mentioned that I had provided it myself, which is absolute nonsense as I certainly have not. This has left me quite anxious about the security of my personal information and whether it's somehow been compromised.
