For weeks now, I've been inundated with calls from various numbers that are nearly identical. Most of the time they simply hang up, but every so often, I actually manage to have a conversation. One lady caught me off guard with a question, but the moment I mentioned my disability, she abruptly ended the call. I’ve been rather belittled for opting out of listening to their so-called amazing offers. Nowadays, I just add them to my block list without a second thought. I honestly have no clue how they got hold of my number in the first place! The only worthwhile interaction I had was with a chap who was genuinely pleasant; he inquired about my financial situation. When I told him I have no debts and that the only expense I have is my mobile plan-which is all in order-he was quite appreciative and ended the call courteously. That was a refreshing contrast to the relentless barrage I face daily. It’s beyond frustrating and utterly unacceptable!

On the 9th of October, 2020, I received a call from the number 01614646178. The caller inquired about the expiration of my washing machine’s warranty but then abruptly ended the conversation. Quite peculiar, really!

I’m so fed up with these random calls, it’s like they never stop. Every single day some stranger tries ringing me. I just don’t pick up if I don’t recognise the number, seems like a total waste of time. Yet another one to add to my blocked numbers list 🙄

Got a ring from them yesterday, musta been some chat about getting a refund for some PPI stuff. Told ’em I’m only 15, dunno why they bothered, and she quickly said she’ll take me off their call list or whatever. If they ever ring you, just say you’re underage, it usually makes ’em hang up. This number just buzzed my phone at about 6.40pm on 27/01/15. I put my number down on Indeed a while back for job alerts, and since then this number and another one from Birmingham have been ringing me repeatedly. Maybe if anyone else has put their contact on similar sites, they might be sharing or selling these details around. Years ago, like 17 years back when I did telesales, we were handed lists photocopied from phone books to call people.
