He was exceedingly rude and raised his voice, even after I told him I wasn't keen on what he was selling. Received a ring on the 20th of April 2015 at precisely 10:04 while I was busy at work, hence couldn't pick up. They decided to call back on the 29th of April 2015 at 17:27, and this time I did answer. They claimed I could reclaim some funds regarding a cheque I supposedly sent out late last year. However, I haven’t issued any cheques in the previous two years. So I mentioned I was just 13, and abruptly they stopped the conversation, apologised, and hung up. I'm quite puzzled about how they obtained my details, as they had my name, address, and clearly my personal phone number. On the 7th of April 2015, I received a rather peculiar phone call from someone purporting to represent a company named Jeff Williams. A quick search revealed that this furniture enterprise is situated in Torquay, Devon. Oddly enough, the chap on the line claimed he was contacting me from a supposedly separate branch in Manchester, which I am not convinced even exists. He appeared to have my details and insisted that he was reaching out regarding a refund supposedly owed to me. The thing is, I've never made any purchases from them, so this whole situation seems utterly baffling!
