I was quite stunned when the caller addressed me by my full name. They were trying to peddle something along the lines of "Are you familiar with Payment Protection Insurance?" The chap was exceedingly pushy and rather impolite, to be honest. I remained composed and requested six times for them to erase my number from their records, yet he just kept repeating the initial part of his spiel, but louder and more forcefully with each attempt I made to redirect the conversation.
