They say they’re from Green Energy and are offering heating grants for folks on benefits. If you don’t qualify, they just hang up straight away. Trying to press 9 to get taken off their list is pointless because they keep ringing back nonstop. Seriously, there should be laws against this kind of persistent calling! The TPS doesn’t seem to help at all. BT can block the number, but only if it’s a personal line - business lines just get bombarded, which is really frustrating.

On the day of the appointment, I got both an email and a text reminder with a contact number if I needed to cancel. And guess what? I did cancel! While I genuinely think there might be something legitimate about them, I recall the caller mentioning that if you succeed in your claim, they take a hefty 37 or 39 percent cut from the award. So, while it might be the real deal, you could lose quite a bit of money if you go through with it. They also have a 'no win, no fee' policy, so it’s all up to you to decide.
