Got a call from a bloke who sounded Indian, said he was ringing from Carphone Warehouse. When I asked how he had my number, he claimed it was from some database with all my info on it. Got a call from an Asian guy saying he was from Carphone Warehouse trying to get me to upgrade my phone. I explained I’d just upgraded with EE and was stuck in the contract, but he got pretty rude and said I didn’t get it, offering a Samsung for £30 a month if I sent back my current phone. Told him I was happy with my phone since I only got it a few weeks ago, thanked him, and he just disconnected on me. Definitely felt dodgy and not genuine. Would say steer clear and block.
