Somebody called saying they were from Carphone Warehouse and even used my name. They kept pushing me to update my phone, then asked for my email. I told them that they should already have that info and shouldn't need to ask me again. After a bit more back and forth, the caller just ended the call.

Got a call from a bloke speaking with a really thick Indian or Pakistani accent that I couldn’t understand properly. Got a call from someone saying they were from Carphone Warehouse, trying to sell me a new contract. Thing is, I’m not even a customer there. I said I’m on a sim-only deal and only pay about £9 a month. Then they tried to tempt me with an iPhone 11 plus unlimited calls, texts and data all for that price. It sounded a bit too good to be true, so I just ended the call because they didn’t seem to accept my refusal.
