Just got a call from some complete muppets. I rang back using my work phone and it turned out to be from overseas, sounded like an Indian accent or something. This kind of nonsense should really be stopped. BT and other telcos ought to tackle this rubbish way faster, and Ofcom seriously need to step in and make them do it.

Got a call this evening, waited on hold for nearly 30 seconds before a bloke finally answered from a really noisy call centre. He was looking for a person I don’t know and said he was from some comparison site or something. I said they must have dialled the wrong number ’cause no one here matches that name. He said sorry and quickly ended the call. The guy sounded English, maybe from Manchester or Birmingham judging by his accent. Just another annoying cold caller who probably got my number without permission.
