Just got a ring from this number, which often pops up with a Manchester dialling code. I always ignore them and let it ring out before blocking it. What’s weird is they seem to call exactly when I’m using my phone. It’s happened so many times, it’s honestly creeped me out. Makes me think about how much these scammers are watching us without us realising. Anyway, I’ve sent some bad vibes their way and hope they’re suffering some serious misfortune right now. Got a call from a lady with an accent, asking about life insurance. Wouldn’t let me get a word in. Planned to block the number anyway. When I asked if she could ring me later, she said couldn’t I give her 5 minutes. I said I was busy and couldn’t. She got really snappy and then huffed and puffed before carrying on. I just ended the call! Proper rude behaviour. DO NOT PICK UP!!! Number is blocked now.

Didn’t really get what she was on about but caught the word financial somewhere in there. Told her I’m on the telephone preference list and she shouldn’t ring me again, then just ended the call. They said it was a Manchester number but it defo sounded like it was from abroad. You can tell by the way the call sounds when it’s international. I’ve blocked the number now.

8th September 2016. Over the last two days, this number has called me around lunchtime, between 12:20 and 1:30. As soon as I pick up, they just hang up. I've now put them down as DO NOT PICK UP in my contacts. Might be TALKTALK since I'm still having some problems with them. Has anyone else had these calls from TalkTalk?

Somebody rang me up already knowing my name and where I live, and said if I ever paid a certain bank for having an account, I could claim back up to £10,000. She tried to transfer me to another person to ask more questions, but I just politely ended the call. If she calls again, she’s definitely getting blocked.

A woman with an Asian accent said she worked for Pension Review Service and mentioned the FCA and so on. When I asked what exactly they were offering, she said "nothing, just a review". I kept pressing her about where she was calling from and at first she said Manchester, but after I kept asking, she eventually admitted she was actually in the Philippines. Got 7 calls these last few weeks and every time they just stay silent then hang up, really annoying.

The caller began by saying "I'm phoning from the Department for Work and Pensions regarding your pension". I replied "Did you say Department for Work and Pensions?" He said yes, so I asked him to tell me my National Insurance number. As soon as I asked, he ended the call. Clearly, he wasn’t honest about who he was. Really wish there was a way to stop these people from spreading lies as some folks might get tricked.

Some woman rang claiming she was from the dept for work and pensions. She began by asking how old I was and whether I had a pension. I told her everyone does, and if she really worked for DWP, she ought to have my national insurance number. She said they only had my name and address, so I just told her I wasn't convinced and ended the call.

Some bloke named Jenner kept ringing me up, he sounded Indian. Even after I told him I didn’t want to be on their list and to stop calling, he just kept at it, phoning me like five times. When I finally picked up, they hit me with loads of questions. They had all my details already - like my address, phone number, postcode and full name. Honestly, best thing is just don’t pick up and block the number.

It’s driving me mad having to deal with these calls every single day, even after I’ve blocked the number, somehow they keep ringing through. Today, after getting two calls back to back, I decided to ring them myself. I asked to speak to a manager straight away, but apparently the manager was busy in a meeting. I insisted they take my number off their list - they promised they would, but if it keeps happening I’m not afraid to report them to the police for harassment!

They ring me about 4 or 5 times every day, it's so annoying! Proper rude behaviour.

I get so fed up with these calls, they’re such a pain. Normally they just drop off just as soon as you pick up, but this morning when I was in Tesco, the person stayed on the line. I asked who it was but didn’t say my name. He then asked me who I was and I told him he ought to know if he’s ringing me. I was about to give him a good telling-off, but he hung up before I got the chance. Seems like just another shady company to me. Has anyone had any experience with Help My Claim?

So I got a call the other day from what looked like a Manchester number, but the guy had this heavy Indian accent and started going on about mortgage stuff. Proper cold call out of the blue! I didn’t hang about, just blocked the number and put it on the TPS list straight away. Hilarious how they try that now!

They said they were ringing about a survey I supposedly did. I told them I hadn’t filled out any survey and that I was on the TPS list. After that, they just hung up.

Picked up the phone, but no one spoke on the other end.

They called me back-to-back six times! My phone isn’t set up to take voicemail, so I just ignored all the calls since I wasn’t expecting anyone I don’t know. Six tries without a break? Crazy! Guess I’m some kind of VIP to them, ha, but definitely not in my eyes. Since I’m on the Telephone Preference Service, I’ll be filing a complaint about this. :-)

I received a call from this number, and it turned out to be from a call centre in the Philippines, representing "the national lending association". The woman on the other end was quite difficult to comprehend as she attempted to talk about my mortgage. Yeah, as if! - I reckon it's some sort of mortgage lender, or something along those lines.

Got a call from this number just now but nobody picked up, must be some kind of spam.

Got a ring from this number earlier, they claimed they needed to do an audit on my mortgage. I mentioned that I’m registered with the TPS and they quickly said sorry and promised no more calls before hanging up.
