Received a call on the 14th of June, 2019. There was complete silence at first, then I heard a voice say, "Hello, how are you?" I chose not to respond, and the line dropped shortly after that. Most likely, it was related to PPI or just another dodgy scam.

They said they was from MTA solicitors which are really in Bromley. Bet they wouldn’t be pleased their name is bein’ used like that. Was tryin’ to offer me compensation!!! It’s one of them car crash scam claim firms.

I thought data protection laws were meant to stop folks sharing your info like this. I’m careful not to give my number to strangers. Don’t pick up! Some bloke ringing me asking if I’d been in an accident over the last two years. I asked who gave him my info without my say so, so I could report it, but he just kept saying it was a confirmation call and I only needed to confirm. Then he started asking what language I was speaking (I’m from Glasgow) ‘cos apparently all he could hear was mumbling. When I asked who he thought he was, he just started laughing like a prat. Proper cheeky and annoying!
