I received a call from this number, and the individual on the other end was incredibly insistent, claiming to be from BT Internet Support. He maintained that there was an issue with my internet connection and offered to check it without needing access to my device. I spent quite a bit of time explaining that I wasn't a BT customer and casting doubt on his tale, yet he persisted. Eventually, I asked him for a contact number to verify, and he provided 0275650008. This number doesn’t seem to exist in the UK, which raises a red flag about its authenticity. I subsequently reported both numbers to BT, who expressed their gratitude for the heads-up. Please steer clear of any such calls claiming to be from BT; they are not affiliated with the company. Consider yourself warned!
