Ugh, is there no end to these 0161 calls? I never pick up but they still just keep coming through. Got one from this number tonight, then another time it’s a different 0161. Would love to know if there’s somewhere I can report this because all the calls are from 0161 numbers - surely someone can trace who’s behind it and put a stop to it! I've been receiving no fewer than five calls each day from these persistent folks. They keep insisting that I'm owed £2500 from either loans, credit cards, or perhaps a mortgage. I've explained to them that if they already possess my name, address, and phone number, then they should have everything required to send a cheque. Yet, despite this clarity, the calls continue. They won't divulge any useful information-just the same old routine. I've had enough and simply tell them to jog on and subsequently block their number.

They claimed to be from some bank protection service, but somehow they had my address? No idea how that happened. They kept saying something about sending a refund in the post, and that my bank wouldn't know, then asked me to confirm my address. I kept asking for their company's info but got nothing. Ended up just hanging up.

I received a call purporting to be from some sort of bank security service. When I requested the name of their company, I only got the same request to confirm my address again, and honestly, I could barely decipher what the chap was saying-it felt like a struggle! Usually it’s that robotic female voice, I once just agreed to everything out of curiosity, then out of nowhere she says "Please wait for an advisor". These PPI calls are so annoying. I told the woman I wasn’t interested, but she was so rude and defensive, going on about WHY?! I said I don’t know how she got my number and I’m not falling for any scam. The more I said no, the more she got nasty.
