Some guy from abroad kept ringing me, said he was from some call blocking service or something. This number has called me thrice already. I ended up blocking it on me phone.

Someone rang me claiming to be from BT. They called yesterday telling me from Monday they'd be blocking nuisance calls, then hung up. Today, around 10:45am on 3/10/2019, they phoned again to confirm the blocking of these unwanted calls. Then they asked for my credit card expiry date. When I asked why, they said it was needed as my 'registration number'! I told them that sounded risky and they just hung up. Definitely dodgy scammers.

They said they were with some “call blocking” service, but it smelt like a total scam, so I just blocked the number right there during the call.

So this lady picked up and asked if I was having trouble with nuisance calls. I told her straight up that she was actually one of those annoying calls. She claimed to be calling from some kind of call blocking team. After that, I just hung up on her.
