I got a call from a guy called Michel, sounded Asian and he said he'd help me out with a car crash I supposedly had recently. Thing is, I don't even drive or have a licence. Feels like a total scam to me. I've got the call recorded if that might help catch these people.

Someone rang me claiming to be from the fraud police and said they’d block my number. I wasn’t sure about it, so I checked a fraud website but still couldn’t be certain if that’s a legit thing they’d do. Noticed loads of complaints about this number here too. I’m gonna ring the real fraud dept to double check and report that this name is being used for scams.

He never said who he was but called me by my old name. I told him I’d already asked for my number to be taken off their list loads of times and asked again nicely. Then he started shouting HEY HEY HEY. I told him to stop being so rude and he kept telling me to "GO AND ### YOURSELF" a few times and said something about my mum that I couldn’t quite catch. Honestly, I’m really upset about this, it’s got to be stopped.

Got a call from someone asking about a recent accident. I told them about GDPR and said I never agreed for them to keep my personal info like my name and phone number. I told them it was illegal to hold my data without consent. The guy just said "good luck, you’ll be getting loads of calls from us" and then told me to “go F##K yourself”. I tried ringing back but there's a voicemail saying they're under investigation by Action Fraud Police.

Got a call from some claims company, they said they’d received details about an accident I’d supposedly been in. Told them I’d had no accident! She said she’d look into it. Was fairly polite, but still a bit frustrating!

I usually just ignore calls from numbers I don’t know. This number, or some version of it, has called me loads of times. I just let it ring out. After they hang up, I look them up here and nearly always they’re marked as ‘Dangerous’ or at best ‘Annoying’. I block them straight away. Absolutely horrible. He rang me up saying I’d been involved in a car crash. I told him I hadn’t, but he kept insisting, “no, we’ve got it on record”. I just laughed and said, “no, that’s wrong”. Then he shouted, “why are you laughing?” I told him, “because you’re claiming there’s a record of an accident I never had”. Then he went on, “just you wait, when you crash tomorrow you won’t be laughing!”. What a rude foreigner. People like that shouldn’t be allowed to pester others!!

Got a message saying I'd been in a car accident. Not true at all! At least they were polite, said sorry and goodbye, which is more than I can say for some calls!

He said he’d got a file about a road traffic collision I was supposedly part of. I told him I don’t drive and he goes, ‘oh, so you’re one of those, huh?’ Then he started going on about how you don’t need to be driving to be involved in an RTC. When I said I wasn’t involved in any collision, he snapped, ‘maybe you should learn how to answer properly’. Proper rude bloke!

It seems I received a rather peculiar phone call from what appeared to be a long-distance number. The caller's accent suggested that English was perhaps not their native tongue. They purport to be affiliated with a company that addresses nuisance calls, yet they were quite insistent on me verifying certain bits of personal information-rather alarmingly, they wanted to know the expiration date of my Visa card! I swiftly declined to provide any details regarding my financial information. Without further ado, the call was abruptly terminated. I'm leaning towards the conclusion that this was a scam attempt.
