The guy was really rude, and when I told him I wasn’t interested because I never had anything to do with PPI, he started calling me a liar and all sorts. Anyway, I decided to ring back and hope this cheeky bloke gets a telling off from his boss. Honestly, I kinda enjoyed the back and forth. Make sure you put your phones, landline and mobile, on the TPS. If everyone did this, annoying calls like the one from this number could pretty much vanish. Whenever I get calls like this, I say, "Well done! You’ve hit the jackpot! This line is registered with TPS, so you’re being reported. The company and the boss could be facing a £500,000 fine. Enjoy your work while it lasts." I don’t bother chatting with them, either hang up if they don’t first, then block the number for good. Honestly, it’s amazing how much better you feel when you stay calm and keep the upper hand.
