They brought up PPI, so I said I'm too young for that. Then they asked if I’d ever had a credit card, loan or mortgage. I told them I'm only 23, so they asked if that means I've never had any. They didn’t really push much after that.

Seeing as it’s an 0161 code and not one of our mates from Cheshire, I simply let it ring out, and they usually give up after about 20 to 30 seconds! I must admit, I’m quite tempted to find out what their spiel is, and then have a bit of fun by asking them all sorts of tricky questions to really waste their time. It’d be good to show them I’m not easily fooled, and perhaps they’ll take me off their list of targets! Most calls from 0161 seem to be dodgy business! If you don’t recognise the digits, chances are it’s either a scam or a sales call.
