Got a call from some PPI firm based in Manchester. I've blocked their number ages ago but this time the lady left a voicemail saying I’ve supposedly began a claim and she’s posting a letter to me. Really odd experience - I got a call on my mobile, and after a brief silence, a call centre popped in, with a bloke asking for Jamie (which isn't me). Then, suddenly, a woman with a northern accent started speaking over him, he disappeared, and I was left talking to her. She kept asking 'who's this? I just got a call from an 0161 Manchester number'. I told her I'd got the same call earlier. Then an automated voice came on and the call ended. I honestly thought it was a prank until I came across this info.
