Just got a call from 01612 839252 saying they were from British Telecom and insisted it wasn’t a scam call, that it was legit. But I checked with BT customer service and they said that number isn’t theirs. Every time I get dodgy calls, I look up the number on this site and it always shows negative reviews. Chatting with BT online confirmed my suspicions and really calmed me down. I’m super cautious because I don’t want to fall for scams. 01615201875 - Got a missed call from this number on my phone on 08/03/2022. Didn’t know who it was, so I decided to search it online. Looks like it’s just another scam call. I never answer calls from numbers I don’t know!

The 0161 212 3300 called me and straight away I could tell it was dodgy. I ended up chatting with the person and told him that the number’s linked to a common scam, advised him to quit the game before it’s too late since their firm’s even on the police radar! He seemed to take it onboard and said thanks for the heads-up. Haven't heard from them ever since! Maybe I should suggest he goes to church on Sunday too.

Had a call from someone with an Asian accent claiming to be from a finance firm, wanted a word with me. I told him no and said cheers nicely. Blocking doesn’t seem to help much since they seem to have loads of different numbers. You’d think BT or someone could step in and cut off these scam calls from old or invalid numbers. In this day and age it feels like they should be able to clean those out properly.
