Just got a call from 01612 839252 saying they were from British Telecom and insisted it wasn’t a scam call, that it was legit. But I checked with BT customer service and they said that number isn’t theirs. Every time I get dodgy calls, I look up the number on this site and it always shows negative reviews. Chatting with BT online confirmed my suspicions and really calmed me down. I’m super cautious because I don’t want to fall for scams. Yep, definitely seemed like a scam call. They claimed to be from Virgin Media saying my internet speed was unstable and that I wasn’t getting the service I paid for. I just ended the call straight away. The number showed up as ‘01612 836732’.

Got a call from this code, looked up the number - quite odd, very vague, couldn't track it at all. They just said hello then hung up straight away. Being disabled makes it even more annoying. If that code shows up again, it's going straight on the block list.

01615201875 - Got a missed call from this number on my phone on 08/03/2022. Didn’t know who it was, so I decided to search it online. Looks like it’s just another scam call. I never answer calls from numbers I don’t know!

The 0161 212 3300 called me and straight away I could tell it was dodgy. I ended up chatting with the person and told him that the number’s linked to a common scam, advised him to quit the game before it’s too late since their firm’s even on the police radar! He seemed to take it onboard and said thanks for the heads-up. Haven't heard from them ever since! Maybe I should suggest he goes to church on Sunday too.

01612 578 074 Called me but I missed it. No one I know from Manchester and I'm not expecting any calls from banks or such. Usually, it's just family ringing me on my mobile. Had a call from someone with an Asian accent claiming to be from a finance firm, wanted a word with me. I told him no and said cheers nicely. Blocking doesn’t seem to help much since they seem to have loads of different numbers. You’d think BT or someone could step in and cut off these scam calls from old or invalid numbers. In this day and age it feels like they should be able to clean those out properly.

On Saturday morning ###/2/###16, I got a call from 016###### at about ###.### am, which was the very first time they'd rung me. The person on the line, who spoke with an Asian accent, asked if I wanted a loan. I told him no, and then he said something like he’d remove me from their list or something like that.
