I answered a call from an 01608 number, which isn't surprising since that's my local area code. To my dismay, it turned out to be a scam! The message claimed that a payment of £900 had been deducted from my card and prompted me to press 1 for more details. Honestly, I rarely pick up unknown numbers, but it's unsettling when it’s from within your own area. Completely concerning!

I chose not to respond. Subsequently, I received a message claiming to be from O2, indicating that I needed to confirm my details.

I've had a right nuisance with this number, 01608 057949. They keep calling, but as soon as I pick up, they hang up after a couple of seconds. It's driving me up the wall!

Received a ring from 01608 065367, which turned out to be some sort of automated message inquiring about car accidents. Decided against picking up and they quickly disconnected.

I’ve come across chatter about a car crash that apparently never took place. It’s rather peculiar, isn’t it? It seems there are tall tales being spun where there’s actually nothing to back them up. Quite the conversation starter, I suppose!

I've just had a call from 01608610165, but it seems like a mystery as they didn’t leave a voicemail. This marks the fourth random number that's tried to reach me in the last half-hour with no messages to accompany them. Just going to keep ignoring these pesky calls!
