I got a call from Sky saying they could boost my internet speed, but then they asked me to download some app first. Sounded a bit fishy to me.

Had a missed call from 01602### but couldn’t pick up quick enough. Tried ringing back but no answer, so just deleted the number and blocked it. Looked up 01602 on the net and it seems dodgy. No way we’d fall for any chat from that lot, too clued up about scams these days.

Got a call from a number I didnt recognise, but when I tried to call back it said the code isn’t actually active. Weird!

Got loads of calls from the same number, and I reckon it’s one of those spoofed ones messing about. Totally annoying!

Just got a call from a 01602 number but apparently, that code isn’t even taken in the UK. Sounds like they’re faking where they’re calling from - probably one of those scam calls. Be careful!

This number 01602 ### rang me twice last week and then again just now today.

01602 ### rang me, but as soon as I switched on call screening, they hung up straight away. Dunno who it was, but probably just another annoying call.

My mum’s phone has been getting calls from this number pretty much every day over the past few months. When she picks up, they claim they need access to her computer to fix some internet speed problems.
If the call isn’t answered, they leave a voicemail threatening to disconnect our broadband unless we ring them straight away.
Thing is, we don’t even own a computer or have broadband.
Definitely a scam.
Be careful and don’t share any personal info with them.

Got a call from 01602 ### with a recorded voice telling me our internet was hacked and asking to press 1 to talk to a tech. Obviously, we didn’t fall for it.
