Got a call claiming to be from Visa/Mastercard security regarding a £### charge on my card just a short while ago. Ha, since when did Visa and Mastercard team up like that? Aren't they rivals? Calling it progress seems a bit much. Definitely another dodgy scam attempt.

Got a call from some so-called "National Cybercrime Centre" saying my internet’s been hacked and they’re about to disconnect me. The number started with 01587, which I've never heard as a legit UK area code - sounds like a fake caller ID to me. Definitely just a scam, best to ignore and hang up straight away.

This morning, I got a call from a robotic sounding woman claiming BT was about to disconnect my internet. She said to press 1 if I wanted to stop it. I quickly hung up straight away.

I've had a few calls from 01587### today, about three times, and I can't seem to block them. They claim they're from TalkTalk and that there's an issue with my internet IP being hacked or something. When I spoke to my phone provider, they basically told me to either block all international calls, pay an extra £4 a month to block hidden numbers, or just get a new phone number altogether! Absolutely annoying and frustrating!

My mum got a phone call from 01587### saying that someone tried to use her banking app over in California. They told her to open her app, but she doesn’t even have one, thankfully. She’s pretty sharp with this stuff since she watches the news, so she didn’t give out any personal info. Just a heads up for everyone else to stay alert!

If only there was a cheap way to stop all these annoying calls but guess what, the only real option is to get one of those pricey phones that blocks them. I’ve got 4 phones hooked up here so it’s a bit much. My iPhone handles it fine though, but unfortunately, blocking numbers on my BT landline just isn’t possible. Such a pain!

Yesterday, I got a ring from 01587 ###. I answered with "hello" a few times but there was just silence, then after my third try, the call just dropped. I entered ### to track the number. Sometimes we get calls from a bloke who sounds like he might be Indian, claiming to be from Microsoft or BT. It really creeps me out! Not a fan of these calls whatsoever.

Been getting calls from this number loads, but every time I answer, there’s just a recorded voice saying goodbye. They use different numbers too, so it’s not just one. One time, someone actually spoke and claimed to be from BT, but as soon as we mentioned we'd be contacting Sky, they just hung up straight away. Bit dodgy if you ask me.
