He wanted to know my network provider but when I asked why, he said there’s a special offer on an iPhone 13 pro max for a limited time. I told him I wasn’t interested and he asked what I did want… like that makes any sense! I just said nothing and then he muttered something I couldn’t catch and hung up. Blocked the number right away.

Having a mate in Lanark who has just lost her spouse, I felt anxious that one of her daughters might be ringing me up, so I picked up the phone when this number came through. A young chap, sounding like he was in his mid to late twenties, with just a hint of what seemed to be an Indian or Pakistani accent, introduced himself as "George." As soon as I heard that, I promptly responded with a swift "goodbye," ended the call, and wasted no time in searching for the number on this website. Whatever reason he had for reaching out, I was certain it wouldn’t be anything particularly advantageous for me.
