I found it all rather strange, especially when they bizarrely accused me of being a scammer, just before abruptly ending the call. Like others have said, the first part of the phone number stays the same, only the last two digits seem to change. I got a call three days ago with the last couple digits as 20, and today it was 21. I figured it was the milk delivery folks (McQueens), which is how I found myself here and realised I was wrong. One of their call centres is actually in the same area, so I quickly checked with my local supplier. They told me straight away that number isn’t connected to them! I’ve blocked the number now. Waiting to see if ‘19’ pops up next, haha!

I usually dont pick up when the caller ID shows as unknown. If it’s important, they’ll just leave a voicemail, right? Got a call on both my mobile and landline, so they must’ve got my info from somewhere. Anyway, blocked the numbers on both phones now.

Got a call from 01555222021 earlier, claiming to be Carphone Warehouse (as if!). They were trying to sell me a “FREE” iPhone 13 or the latest Samsung, can you believe it? Sounded too good to be true, and honestly, it was. The caller was pretty polite at first, but the moment I said I wasn’t into it, they just hung up on me - no farewell or nothing!
