Got a call from a number that showed up as Liverpool, but it was obviously a scam. When I picked up, some weird American-sounding digital voice told me to ring back if I wanted discounts or something like that. Totally dodgy. I've blocked the number now and decided I'm not gonna pick up on any random numbers anymore.

Got a call from a woman with an Asian accent who was asking for my personal info. Definitely felt like a scam to me. Stay careful out there.

Got a call from some bloke called Paul, said it was for market research or summat, sounded like he was from Asia or something. Bit random but wasn't pushy or anything.

As soon as I saw it was a number not saved and from a different area code, I just ignored and blocked straight away. Seriously, who hasn't figured out by now that these random unknown numbers are just annoying spam or scams? Doesn’t matter how many times they tweak the last digit and try again, I’m not answering - blocking them is the only way to cope with this constant flood of rubbish calls.

The chap on the other end didn’t utter a single word. I’m absolutely baffled as to why he’d ring me up only to fall silent the moment I picked up. He hung up after a few seconds of dead air. Without hesitation, I redialled that number, but all I could make out was some rather unsettling music playing. Seems like it’s probably just some dodgy spam line, to be honest.

They didn’t leave any voicemail, so I’m guessing it’s probably some sort of scam.

John said he got a call that was dead silent for a bit before they just hung up. When he tried ringing back, he only caught a bit of classical music before everything went quiet again. Definitely one of those weird silent calls.
